Great Tips To Get Thicker Eyelashes Naturally
4. Green Tea
You might have heard of the advice that putting tea bags over your eyes can help reduce inflammation, aka, under-eye bags. You might be surprised to hear that this actually does work – thanks to the numerous nutrients present in tea, including the likes of Vitamin C, Vitamin B2, folic acid, beta carotene, Vitamin E. potassium, calcium, and phosphorus, as well as flavonoids (antioxidants).
But using green tea in particular, as opposed to black or oolong, will give the maximum possible benefit because it is made from Camellia sinensis leaves that aren’t put through a withering and oxidation process, leaving them largely unharmed.
To use a tea bag, you can always go with the tried and tested method of cool tea bag over eye for 15 minutes, or use a cotton swab to wipe unsweetened green tea over your lashes. Let sit for 15 minutes and rinse off with cool water. You would need to do this twice daily, for around 2-3 months.
