So, you’ve got the right shampoo and conditioner, but how often should you be using them? Limit shampooing to a maximum of 2-3 times per week. Curly hair is dryer than straight hair and doesn’t need to be washed as often because shampooing actually draws the moisture out, contrary to popular belief. Instead, you can “co-wash” your hair more often. This just means using only conditioner (without shampoo) while showering, which will add moisture to it.
